Cell Groups

Our experience (and that of many others) is that most of us flourish when we feel part of a small group of other people who have out interest at heart as much as our own.

This is one of the reasons we encourage the members of the church family to be a part of a Cell Group. Quite a number, now, are part of a cell group because they first participated in an Alpha Course (a course for exploring or refreshing commitment to a number of basic Christian truths); Where they make friends and learn to grapple with what it means to be a Christian today in a regular get together in someone's home.

We are now becoming a family of small groups who do Church together at various locations in and around the Trentham (including services at various times on Sundays and Wednesday mornings). Cell groups (so called because the idea is that cells will subsequently grow, split and multiply) are 12-15 people meeting for fellowship, worship, study of the bible, exploring how Christianity works and a lot of fun as well. As a result the Cell Group leaders are effectively the core pastoral team. This doesn't mean that they know everything but that they have the commitment to serve God and their group in knowing the LORD better.

If you would like to join such a group - Speak to Nigel di Castiglione - and likewise if you think the Alpha Course is the first step.
