Dick France was in need of sponsorship (and therapy!)

Well guys we did it and now I only need therapy. Thanks to your help we have raised £2,193 plus relevant gift aid and helped to;

More importantly, the funds raised will be channelled directly to International Poverty charities with a significant amount going to a mission in Burkina Faso (the poorest state in Africa - situated north of Ghana) with which we have a history and confidence in the funds going directly where needed.

Thanks partly to a virus in the final week rendering me incapable of either wanting food or making comprehensible speech, I managed to lose 26lbs and reach a weight of 11 stone (my best case scenario!).

Now struggling to keep it off but a big thank you to all for your help and support. It is astonishing how one can succeed when you know so many are behind you and despite past failures.
