Food bank - Urgent Appeal

The folks who depend upon the foodbanks need our help more than ever at the

moment. There are two main ways in which we can support them – either by giving

financially or by donating actual items and information about both is on their website.

If you choose to donate items it is very straightforward. Simply take produce to the

door of the community centre on Magdalen Road in Blurton (off the Trentham

Longton Road) and deposit the goods outside a closed door. You cannot miss the

building – it is clearly spelled out as a food bank. You either knock or phone a

number to say that you have left goods – and there is no need to come into contact

with anyone.

They are desperate for our help.

Night Shelter

Hi everyone – thank you to all who have brought us donations of food over the past couple of weeks. If anyone is able to continue with this we would be very grateful.

We can use

UHT milk, coffee, sugar, pot noodles or anything that can be made with a kettle,

biscuits, instant pasta, tinned beans/spaghetti, sweet snacks

eg pots of custard/rice pudding.

Fresh food is ok as long as it is within its date.

Packs of sandwiches are also a good idea.

Items can be dropped off on Wednesday or Saturday

at 5.30pm – 7.00pm.

To:  9 Chaple Lane, Burslem ST6 2AB

We need your help!  -    Thank you in advance!
